The Forbidden Aunt, a feature documentary film project by Bojana Novakovic, won Best Pitch Award at the first Beldocs Docs in Progress program, where the project was presented by producer Milan Stojanovic.
Bojana Novakovic is an actress-turned-filmmaker, known for her roles in Shameless, Westworld, Edge of Darkness and Generation Um.
The Forbidden Aunt has been supported by Film Center Serbia and is in advanced development / financing stage. Previously, the project was presented at Thessaloniki Docs in Progress, Barcelona Docs and EURODOC workshop.
