Sense Production is run by a trio of EAVE producers: Milan Stojanović, Maja Popović Milojević and Marija Stojanović.

Our latest title is the hit children film HOW I LEARNED TO FLY (Leto kada sam naučila da letim) by Radivoje Andrić, which won over 20 awards at home and international festivals and had over 230.000 admissions domestically.

We also produced the award-winning films by Ivan Ikić – OASIS (2020 / Europa Cinemas Label for Best European Film, Giornate degli Autori, Venice / Serbian OSCARS entry) and BARBARIANS by Ivan Ikić (2014 / Special Mention, Karlovy Vary IFF).

We co-produced MALMKROG (2020 / Golder Bear for the Best Director at Encounters, Berlinale), by Cristi Puiu, THE UNCLE (2022 / Proxima Special Mention, KVIFF) by David Kapac & Andrija Mardešić, RIDERS (2022 / Sarajevo FF) by Dominik Mencej and HER JOB (2018 / Toronto IFF) by Nikos Labot. Our first step into the field of drama series was THE LAST SOCIALIST ARTEFACT (Područje bez signala) by Dalibor Matanić and Ankica Jurić Tilić, which won awards at Series Mania and Seriencamp.

Several new exciting projects are in production: WORKING CLASS GOES TO HELL  by Mladen Đorđevic, FOREVER HOLD YOUR PEACE by Ivan Marinović and GOALGETTER by Ivan Stojiljković.

Milan Stojanović is one of the founders of Sense and producer (or co-producer) of most of its titles up to date, including HOW I LEARNED TO FLY (2022), OASIS (2020), THE LAST SOCIALIST ARTEFACT (2021), THE UNCLE (2022) and BARBARIANS (2014).

Milan Stojanovic teaches Film Producing at Faculty of Drama Arts in Belgrade, where he previously studied. He completed the filmmaking course at New York Film Academy (2008) and participated in Berlinale Talents (2016). He is a member of the European Film Academy, ACE Producers and EAVE. Since 2019, he is the EAVE national representative for Serbia.

He was the first laureate of Promotional prize for young East European producers at Cottbus Film Festival (2007) and the Serbian representative in Producers on the Move (2016). In 2018, he was part of Emerging Producers.

From 2002 to 2011, he worked as a freelance associate (production manager, line producer) in more than 15 Serbian and international productions including CIRCLES by Srdan Golubović (2013), MOTHERS by MIlcho Manchevski (2010), THE LIFE AND DEATH OF A PORNO GANG by Mladen Đorđević (2010) and DESTRICTED by Marina Abramović (2006).

Milan is one of the founders of Filmkultura, Association for Education in Audiovisual Culture (2013), which, through various workshops and programs, stimulates critical approach to media with young audiences.

From 2014 to 2017, he worked as the Program Director at Cinema City International Film Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia.

Maja Popovic is a producer with almost 20 years of experience in television content and one of the founders of Sense Production.

Maja produced the box-office hit HOW I LEARNED TO FLY (2022, director Radivoje Andrić) that premiered at BUFF Mamlo, had over 230.000 admissions domestically and received over 20 awards at international festivals including two ECFA awards for Best European feature for children.

She is also one of the producers of the feature film BARBARIANS (2014), the documentary film BATTLE OF KUMANOVO: BLOOD AND MIST (2013), short film FERAL (2021) and co-producer of the feature debut of Romanian director Octav Chelaru, A HIGHER LAW (2022).

Since 2004. Maja works at Pink Media Group in the position of head producer and has worked on many television projects including drama series, sitcoms as well as live broadcasts and international talent shows.

In 2021. she started working as production supervisor and line producer for domestic productions at Apollon Media, a regional SVOD platform.

Maja studied film and TV production at the Faculty of Drama Arts in Belgrade. She is a graduate of the EAVE Producers Workshop 2017 as well as the EAVE Marketing Workshop 2021 and an alumni of the EWA Mentoring program for Women Producers 2018.

Marija Stojanović is one of the three producers in Sense production, where she is producing and co-producing feature films, shorts and TV series. Her latest achievement is a fiction drama OASIS (2022) by Ivan Ikić, that premiered at Venice Film Festival, Giornate degli Autori, winning Europa Cinemas Label.

Marija studied film and TV production at the Faculty of Drama Arts in Belgrade. She is a member of EAVE Network, since she is a Producers and Marketing Workshops alumni. She participated in programs such as: SOFA – School of Film Advancement, MIDPOINT, MAIA Producers Workshop, EURODOC and Sarajevo Talents.

Since 2007 to 2017 Marija has been freelancing as production manager and line producers on many Serbian and international titles including THE BLACK PIN by Ivan Marinović (2016), BARBARIANS by Ivan Ikić (2014), CIRCLES by Srdan Golubović (2013). In 2022 she came back to line producing, only to be a part of HOW I LEARNED TO FLY (2022) by Radivoje Andrić.

Marija is one of the founders of Filmkultura, Association for Education in Audiovisual Culture (2013), which, through various workshops and programs, stimulates critical approach to media with young audiences.

Marija is a co-founder and coordinator of the educational program Cinema Youth and Cinema City Campus (2014), within the Cinema City International Film Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia.

Although still a student at Belgrade’s Faculty of Drama Arts, Vera already has significant experience, as she participated in most of Sense’s productions in the last couple of years, including HOW I LEARNED TO FLY, LABOUR DAY and FOREVER HOLD YOUR PEACE.

Vera joined Sense at the age of 19 and quickly became its core member, working on set as production assistant or location manager, behind the scenes of our films premieres, and as junior producer in the process of our films funding.

In the meantime, Vera also worked in the production of several high profile music events, including EXIT (Novi Sad), LOVE FEST (Vrnjacka Banja) and others.

Nataša Stanojević, graduated in economics, financial management and banking, in 2008.
The following year, she began her thirteen-year career as a banker at Societe Generale Bank, and later at OTP Bank.

Specialized in the field of working as a personal banker, and then works as a senior expert in the field of housing loans, all the while performing insurance duties, as an authorized representative of Societe Generale, OTP, Wiener Stadtische and Uniqa insurance.

Completed numerous trainings such as Working with money and recognizing forgeries of the National Bank of Serbia, Sales and sales management of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia.

Passed the exam and obtained the license of the National Bank of Serbia for the title of authorized intermediary and authorized representative in the field of insurance.

During her studies, she worked as a supervisor and organizer of promotional activities within the promotional agency “Grey Worldwide”, for companies such as Procter & Gamble, British American Tobacco and others.

At the end of 2021, she continued her financial career at Sense Production as a financial manager.
