TURBO is a project for high-end drama series about an aging old-school criminal Dragan, who returns to Belgrade after serving a 5-years prison sentence in Germany. It is the crazy year of 1991 and everything has changed since he’s been gone. Dragan finds his beloved country Yugoslavia falling apart, just like his family and his local gang. He struggles to adapt to the new times and fight off the rise of glory hungry gun-slinging teenagers, armed by heaps of guns from looming civil war. But worst of all, Dragan realizes that his own son Mladen became the very face of this emerging “turbo-generation”.
